Blinkers blink fast but all bulbs good?

I have a 97 4runner sr5, I know when blinkers blink fast it means bulbs are burnt out but I have new bulbs and all lights work besides the blinkers being fast. What should I check?

Did it just start doing this out of the blue? Or did it start after switching bulbs?

I disconnected the trailor wiring because my tail light and 3rd brake light would blink simotaneously and somehow that fixed it, that's when my blinkers started going fast, I checked the grounds and fuses, all good.

I would start with simple stuff, like changing the flasher unit.

disregard the flasher, posted before your last post. They are blinking fast because you changed the resistance on it when you disc. the trailer lights. You need to fix the wireing problem with the 3rd brake light and plug trailer lights back in..

uh, the lights should run fine without the trailer wiring harness there. Most of the time, issues like this stem from the installation of the trailer harness.

That's what made me disconnect the trailor wiring in the first place, I've heard of similar things happening just because of trailor wiring and sure enough it was causing the problems. I don't think it would be the flasher unit because my blinkers blinked at the normal rate when all the problems were occurring.
