Welcome to the board!

As for the 4Runner, buy what ever you want.
Sorry. just kidding.
If your rig has the 22R or RE engine, there is a plethora of aftermarket parts; turbo, headers, cylinder heads, stroker kits, etc. LC Engineering has all the parts you're looking for. Ask for Carl. He'll help you out.
You can lift your rig, you can lower your rig, you can out bigger tires on it, you can put smaller tires on it (why, though?). There are lots of things you can do to a 1st gen.

Yeh, I'm sticking with 31-32s and maybe a little better lift but nothing huge.. does anyone have any custom interiors, be it wood boxes instead of those ugly metal ones, or just anything intresting? Pix please I love the outside of it, but I want to juice it up some. I'm getting a Thule rack w/ lights (i work at a bike shop), a skid plate and better bumpers. The stock ones are chrome and true they look like the day it came from the boat but it isn't beafy enough... so pix please...

Welcome I see you've been bitten by not only the toyota bug but the mod bug too. Look out! The list is endless on what you can do to a first gen. Seems to be alot more parts out there for them than the newer ones. Here's an extreme case 88 Bada$$ Runner Good luck with your purchase.
