I have a 1987 toyota pickup I need to replace the timing chain and guides etc and I found this kit on eBay http://item.mobileweb.ebay.com/viewi...id=77719634158. I wanna know should I go with this or the 400$ for the stuff at my local dealership

 

You need single row kit for an '87 unless the timing cover has already been changed to accept the double row kit. If it is, in fact, an osk timing kit, go for it. Or, just check these out. Highly reputable vendor.

Same here, Engnbldr is great. If you want to replace the oil pump, water pump, and timing cover the LCE 2 row conversion kit would probably be worth it. Same price your dealer is quoting you and it will last longer.
