Just did the supercharger in my 1989 4Runner, and I had to bang the living poop out of the hood to get it to clear the nose cone.

Looking specifically for what people have done with 84-88 (89 4runner) to clear the supercharger.

When I first did the swap, I used the scoop seen here: https://www.yotatech.com/forums/f160...scoops-244528/

However, it doesn't cover the entire length of the supercharger. The nose cone sticks out about 2" longer than the scoop is.

Toyotafiberglass is apparently not making the custom hoods anymore, and every site I have found only makes them for 89-95 Trucks/90-95 4Runners!!!

HALP!

he makes cowl hoods , bolt on as your looking for . not positive it will fit the nose of the supercharger ? I duno .. but it is a "bolt on hood"
I have seen only 1 post of " good comments" so I am not recommending , it's just a suggestion
