This is my first runner I've owned over a dozen pickups 83-88 n I'm building her up. Alrdy got the motor snatched out boring to a 2.6L duel chains steel guides shaving the deck completly reworking the head mild cam and port and polishing. I've just finished boxing in the frame and installing shock hoops with a 14" travel shocks. I've got a 3"suspension lift and running 35/17 on aluminum bullet holes, planning on crossover steering being the next big project after I finish the motor. My only dislike abt the truck is the auto tranny never had one and planning on swapping it down the road. I have a set of 5.29 set up in the third member and though abt throwing them in but wasn't sure how it would run out on the road. My last pickup 83' 9"lift n 37's 22r weber and 5speed was nasty with the 5.29's but I'm affraid they will be too much with the smaller tires and auto tranny
