rear differential locker

alright heres my question, i just bought 2wd 04 tacoma prerunner v6 TRD and was wondering if anyone has ever used the rear differential locker and if it actually works and stuff, like in sand or mud

Yes they work rather well. In fact you will get a lot further with it than without it.

Yes, they work. But your truck will still not match a 4x4. My '86 2x4 with a rear locker was much better at getting into my fields, but I still needed a 4x4.

Yup, one wheel in back pushing and one in front pulling will always be better than two in back pushing.

well see i bought the 2wd because im going to put a long travel suspension kit on, i had no idea i had a rear locker until i drove it off the lot. but i'm not compaining about it, i'm sure it will come in handy
