Not one problem! Didn't burn a drop of oil, wasn't the most quiet or comfortable ride I ever had, but she rode like a champ the whole way.

Awesome!

Had my '87 a little over 2 months now and have take it from Philly to Upstate NY, Upstate to Boston and Back, and Finally down to West Virginia and back. Has performed like a champ on every trip.

Suitably impressed.

Bought mine in LA in December, drove it to Portland. Have been driving it every day since. 310k on the chassis, 40k on the drivetrain. It ran, but pretty much everything else had an issue -- wipers, lights, switches, leaks, too much to list. I'd drive it coast to coast without hesitation.

Wink

:wabbit2: My question till you got to Connecticut how many people would you have killed.

Did you go the scenic route you could not pay my enough to drive through the Washington Baltimore area or anywhere east of the Hudson River at least till north of the Chimpanzee bridge.

I am glad you had a good trip.

Yea DC beltway traffic is the worst!

Took the runner thru NYC to see a friend real quick on my way back from WVA and almost murdered a few people myself.

95 north and it was terrible through baltimore/jersey turnpike/george washington bridge. For some reason that area is just terrible, nothing against anybody from any of those states but the people I encountered on the highway were some of the rudest people, middle fingers were flying every 2 minutes from people.

Pfft... 1200 mile move from OR to CO my truck went on a trailer... 1500 mile move from CO to FL my truck went on a trailer... It would probably make it.. I certainly wouldn't be setting any speed records, but by the end of my trip my clutch/tranny would be done.

I was thinking the same thing, but wasn't feeling brave enough to post it.
