91 toyota pickup v6 to 22re engine swap

want to swap my v6 to a 22re in my 91 toyota pickup extended cab short bed 4x4. want to know if anyone has done this before and have any tips on it.

Why when a 3.4 will fit right on the veezy mounts. You'd have to torch/weld to fit a 22r in there.

x2 the 3.4 is the way to go. if you don't believe it, research and then test drive each model engine at a used car lot, 22re, 2.7, and 3.4. i would trade before i did that swap. but if you have to swap check out these guys http://toyonlyswaps.com/ by the way i have a rebuildable 22re and 5 spd for sale.

donomite49 thx for the tip and I don't need to swap now but just looking and getting ideas and tips so when I need to or want to it will be easier for me to no wat engine to put in it. Do u have more info on the 3.4 to?

the toy only swap site has info on the yota swap. you will find all the info you need on yotatech. look on the engine swap forums and you'll find tons of golden info lol. know i have about 600 miles on my 3.4 swap and lovin it. like a whole new truck.
