22RE w/180k miles -- new catalytic converter time?

What kind of life have people seen with their catalytic converters on 22RE's? Translation: have you swapped in a new converter and seen a performance improvement?

Just wondering if my engine's fighting to breathe after 180k miles on its converter.

Have you ever had any serious engine problems?

Blown HG and bad rings can reduce the life of or outright kill a CC.

If it runs clean and passes smog it's probably not worth the $$$.

I did put a Dynomax CC on my 4Runner when they were still legal and believe me it doesn't make that much of a difference if any.

A 22re is still 4 little squirls running in a wheel
