Hey All,

sigh...my truck now sits on side of the road...heres what happened...

Over the last few weeks, truck has been getting harder and harder to get into gear....(master cylinder fluid level is fine)....so i figure probably a waering out slave cylinder....

anyway, was driving along and pulled up to stop sign....wouldnt go into gear for anything...so i think i tried a bit too hard and now the shifter is all loose and feels like it aint attached to anything....grrr... idles fine....just no gear...

I havent had a chance yet to remove the boot etc. but what damage have i done.....(is it a simple fix..or a drop the tranny type

again, truck is a 91 v6 5 spd 4x4

sounds like new clutch time... i suggest marlin crawler 1200# for the 3vze. i just put 1 in and absolutely love it.

 

.if the clutch was dead, wouldnt it just slip?....besides it had a brand new clutch last year.......its not my daily driver...so probably has had less than 500km on it since.....

the problem before was that it wont go into gear.......now the shifter just moves around freely and doesnt feel attached to anything...

i was doing research and wondered if my ball and seat are shot?...anyone?
