Rear wiper switch help!

Ok the search button has stopped working, and need some help.

First I have a 1990 4runner and have been trying to fix the rear wiper.
And have run into a problem, the switch on the steering column is not connected and there is no where to or I cant find where it is suppose to connect to. had the dash all apart and could find nothing.

So where does it connect? If anyone has some pictures that would be great!!

going to try to start tracing them from the rear but any help would be helpful.

I guess someone cut it off flush but not sure why.

you could very well be missing the connecting wire that runs to the relay. Im not sure where the relays are in the second gens but in my first gen the switch in my center console ran to the driver side kick panel then back to the relay which was behind the driver side seat in the rear quater panel. Then it continued back and up into the top. Idk if any of that helps at all. Hope you figure it out. Maybe try to google a wiring diagram. Thats what we did.
