Rear window wont go down

hey guys my rear window in my 95 runner stopped working just recently. So i thought it was probbably the motor, which i just happened to have a spare one of my wrecked 94 i put that puppy in and the same thing nothing when i pushed down on the switch. I checked to see if it was the switch but it seems to work because whenever i push the up it makes a click. Does anyone have any clue what might be wrong because i would like to access the back of my runner again.

The window lock in the console isnt in the lock position right? Your rig isnt iced over or simply covered with snow is it? You could be dealing with simple stupid stuff thats easily over looked. Ive heard of guys asking what the deal is and then replying to let us know they left the window lock in lock position. I dealt with water melting from the top of my rig onto the window and freezing it in close position. So look into the simple stuff before you tear it all apart. Good luck!

well it was snowing when i noticed it. And i know my lock button isnt down checked it around 100 times. And i dont think ice is freezing it down because we are having unusually nice weather for this time of the year it around 70 degrees

Make sure the rear wiper blade is all the way in the "Up" position. If it is not seated, the window won't work. One of those fail safe safety things Toyota does to give us fits...
