86' Toyota gears and lift

I am wanting to build my 86' Toyota pickup and would like to run 35x12.50 tires. I would love to do a SAS but am low on money so I am leaving the IFS and planning on doing a 4" rough country lift. What gears should I use if I plan on still doing some highway driving and should i go with the rough country lift?

first of all, you should try searching as this has only been covered 499254621387 times, secon, while im here i am going to recomend 5.29's, third dont get a lift that uses blocks in the rear.

how handy are you with a torch and welder? I'f you good with both I would do a sas...any lift that was worth it was a grand or more find an axle some chevy springs and build it yourself theres plenty of yotas out there that are getting parted out...and I agree with holmes 5:29s are the only way to go with 35 or bigger tires

5.29, but if this is your DD and it's just to get you by until you get a solid axle then 33's and 4.88's would be better, just my .02

If this is your DD, don't lift it.
