Ok First let me say that I have dual rear wheels… Technically 4 wheels drive

My truck is a 1989 2WD 1 Ton dual rear wheel model (Converted to a RV)
Stock engine is a 3.0L 3VZ
Trans is auto (Column shift)

What I have:
1997 4Runner 3.4L 5VZ Auto 4wd engine, all sensors, engine harnesses and ECU

Also have a 97 ECU from a 2wd 4Runner, and a 2wd 95 T-100 (5VZ) auto ECU

What I’m thinking of doing:

I’m going to use the original auto trans. It is a Heavy Duty unit, different from the 2wd trucks. But I need it to shift properly. What controls the shifting? The ECU or different valves/springs in the Trans? (My first time working with auto)

I’m going to use the ECU from the 2wd 95 T-100 and the harness from the 97 4runner.

The only deference between the two (other than a few switched wire plugs) is the EGR system. My engine (97 4Runner) has nothing and the ECU (95 T-100) has it.
Will this be a problem?

Also, does anyone know what the VSV "TPC" is ? (from the 97 4Runner, 22 Pin connector labeled "F" pin 13, Pink-Black wire color.

I was thinking it was just a re-named FPU (Fuel Pressure Up) VSV, but I thought I should check...

Also... Did anyone notice that the 2004 Tundra V6 does not use a cross-over exaust behind the engine? (I was looking for new tranny options and saw a picture of them... That's all I know sofar...
