Alarm bypass for a 1998 4runner? what do you guys use?
#2
I don't think you need one. Try 12voltresource (google it) for your wiring colors and locations. I might be wrong, how do you start your truck now? You have a chip-key or something in a '98? If you have an aftermarket starter kill module (like you need for insurance in some places in Canada), that's a little more complicated, but do-able. With a little more info, we can be a little more specific in the response.

OK, that will be straight forward -No bypass module needed. Just get the wiring diagrams and go for it. The FSM will work for wiring diagrams, but that 12voltresource really simplifies things, you should check it out.
