Transfer case with electronic speedometer setup swapped into mechanical speedo truck?

I swapped a 1993 transmission into my 1990 pickup. The transfer case on the new transmission has the electronic vehicle speed sensor on it. My truck has a mechanical speedometer cable. Eventually I want to swap in an electrical speedometer cable and a different gauge cluster, but in the meantime, what's the best way to get my speedometer hooked back up?

Can I swap the speed output parts from old transfer case to the new one?

Did you ever figure it out?
What did you end up doing?

You can just swap the speed sensors to match your cable or wiring and dash cluster. The part the goes into the transfer case is the same on both (except there are different gear ratios). Only the outside is different between the 2.

BlindfoldMemphis - I ended up doing MrGoat's suggestion and swapping the sensors. It was a breeze.
