Thanks for the help, but I have tried that. There's even a diagram under the hood, but it doesnt have this line in it.
Here's a link to the pic....I hope!

Looks like the line that goes to the the vsv or one of the valves thats supposed to be on top of the valve cover.
If i can get my pics to load i have some that show where the lines run to and from.

I think I may be missing something. Look at this photo.

You can see in this photo there are 2 lines that arent hooked to anything that have a screw in them blocking them off.
Im not sure how important these lines are. Truck runs fine but it does sound like I can hear a vacuum leak somewhere, and I just want everything the way its supposed to be. You know how we are about our trucks?LOL
Thanks for the help! Happy Thanksgiving!

Here's a diagram for the 4WD 22RE. Mine is an 86 as well, so I bookmarked this picture. It will help you for many moons

Awesome! Thank you so much! Now I need to find out if it is an aftermarket part. I noticed today the front VSV has a broken nozzle on one of the vaccum line connections, so its not connected either. I tried to glue it back but couldnt. I will need that part too.
I cant thank you enough for the help!!

My understanding is that VSV is more of a hot start aid, keeps the fuel pressure high in hot conditions to prevent a sort of vapor lock. I've had mine bypassed for 6+ years now and no hot (or cold) starting issues.
And that 3-port vacuum fitting at the back of the intake usually feed the FPR with one port, the factory cruise control (if installed) from the 2nd port and normally the 3rd port is capped. I used that for a vacuum gauge on the dash.

A little late to the party as usual, but here are some pics from an old thread I posted.
The thread: https://www.yotatech.com/forums/f116...99/index5.html
The pics:

I learned something here too about the cruise control. I alsways wondered why mine only used one port but all the diagrams show two. Now I know. Cool.
