Well the guy had the throttle rigged up so i ordered the adapter kit for throttle, and a new adapter plate and manual choke kit should be in bye weekend or next week. I belive its a real weber says made in spain, and has weber all over it. Who makes the knock off weber?

FYI, there isn't many of us running them, and those that are don't know carbs all that well.
have you followed the weber tuning to a tee. ie set the idle screw to 1-1/2 turns in from contact and the idle mixture screw to 2 and then follow the procedure?

p.s. DO NOT adjust the idle until the mixture screw is fully adjusted. this is important. even if it has a difficult time idling. make sure your timing is set at 0 degrees with the vacuum advance disconnected and plugged (the hose not nec to block off the distributor side) before you start. also important. After you check and adjust your timing then re attach the vacuum hose to the distributor.

Well i dont know what to do, stay manual or get the electric? im sure the electric would be nice when its cold out. I guess ima see if i still have a regulator laying around from an old mustang i had. im supprised the weber needs less pressure than the stock carb . Extreme .. Why do you turn down the pressure when offroad?lol . Thats prolly a noob question . Had to ask neways....

I cant belive your the only one with any input on this lol.
