3vze exhaust

So I know exhaust on these trucks have been covered many times before and I read through all of them but couldn't find what I'm looking for. I'm building a custom exhaust because I don't wanna spend the 400 that the places around here want to charge but I'm still debating muffler choices. A buddy at work who has the same engine as me is trying to convince me to use a single chamber muffler. Anyone have any experience with those on the 3.slow and how it would sound. Any sound clips would be sweet thanks

you're local to Roseville, I can show you what I did on my 4Runner, if you'd like. I did the whole shibang... headers, muffler, 2.25 piping, 10 x 3" tip. i even did a cat. delete and still pass smog.

No headers I don't mind spending the money on and I will here soon but it's hard for me to want to spend 400 bucks when I can make it myself for 100 headers I can't make so I will buy those but I can weld so just saving money

www.summitracing.com is your friend when it comes to exhaust products.

as it always goes, short mufflers are louder. ( i have a 13" )

Magnaflow and Borla are good products, but more costly than a Flowmaster, Cherry bomb, Vortex, whatever other product you may or may not choose.

theres always off brands as well. for example, Jones' Mufflers makes a knock off to the flowmaster and its like 30 bucks, sounds the same as a flowmaster ( i had one on my truck before I did a free flow exhaust )
