Need 85 toy pickup Lift Opinions please!!!

I recently Purchased an '85 toyota pickup. Its was completely stock, now has a detroit locker in the rear, i just bought 4.70 reduction gears soon to be installed in the t-case. As for the Lift, I'd like to run no larger than 33'' tires and was thinking about OME leafs all around to get a 2" lift + whatever size shackles to allow crossover steering at some point in time. Are there any other leafs that are good which do not require extending shackle positions...basically i want to just swap out leafs and possible shackles. are any of the chevy leafs a direct swap?? any information is greatly appreciated.

nice 85, im never a fan of chrome, but ive always loved those rims. its hard to find em in that condish, congrats.

i love my ome's i was told by multiple vendors in the area that they are the best as far as bolt on, which is why i pulled the trigger, eventually im putting on 5.5" or 6" TG shackles for the histeer.

nice quality lift, decent ride after they settle, no "snags" for me. i wish i would have went softer on the shocks maybe (like DT3000 instead of prerunners, doetsch tech fan). not the best if you are looking for a flexy sexy crawler, but great for a modest lift with no fab to use on a DD

you haul a lot of lumber??? lol

oh and ditch the track arm and the swaybar and the valance... i used a lot of choice words and time getting that track arm back on then realizing i dont even need the dang thing

Thanks a Bunch for all of the information so far...And the lumber rack came with the truck...for sale if anyone needs one =D. I want a set of leafs with enough lift to run 33's comfortably but without a whole headache of suspension problems and issues. Hence why am thinging about OME leafs. gpeter...your worrying me a bit with the drivetrain problems...thats one problem i am definatly not interested in. ill probably throw on some fox 2.0's as far as shocks...
