Shackle Angle Questions

I am putting this here, only because I think by now I should know this and don't.

Hopefully after the summer is over, I will have enough money to take this chassis fab class I have been thinking about taking for some time now, even if it's only to learn how to weld. Maybe wind up doing an SAS or LT setup on my truck. hmmmmmmmm

Anyway back on topic.

After reading this thread: https://www.yotatech.com/forums/f120...ackles-213306/ it got me to thinking,

I would like to see some photos of what you guys think are some good and bad shackle angles. with/without longer shackles, right and wrong way, I don't care that's not what this thread is for.

All I ask is that you mention whether or not is is a good angle and/or the right/wrong way to do it.

Thanks all.

Perfect angle set up for me. New springs and shackles.

wish i had some better pics for ya. This was set up by my guy here in st. louis. All he does is toyotas and knows them better than any one i've met. Kinda the reason i had him do it once instead of me doing it three times to get it perfect.

This is an excellent thread idea. I plan on doing a rear LT setup with rear springs in the future. I would like to eventually do it myself and information from a thread like this will help open doors for beginning fabricators
