I keep seeing the parts i call clear corners by the headlights the corners, im looking for them to be totally clear, stock they have an orange center piece in the middle of them,

I keep seeing pics of 4Runners with them totally clear besides the headlights,
I have found a set of headlight clear corner combo for 170-200 with black headlights,
they are basically taking the chrome part on the inside of an stock headlight and painting it or producing a black part instead of the chrome ,anyways I remember the honda guys with the cars used ti heat uo the headlights with an oven and paint the chrome part yourself with flat black paint, cant rem offhand the glue they used to reseal but they found a type of glue that worked perfect, I am sure on club civic or something similliar if you want to do the mod it will have the info,
im looking for a place to buy the clear corner and the lens on the bumper that is clear also
any info appreciated,
I heard there was a new law that said u had to have orangw on the corner, i remember before if u had amber bulbs it was ok but i was told the laws changed. Anyways all info is appreciated,
oh also im looking for some black tinted tail lights im not looking for euro or altezza lights but just something that has part of it tinted black,

ebay. or google shopping. either one. you can pay as little as $20, or as much as $150. Quality would slide with that scale. I find the ones in the $50 range have a good mix of price and quality.

 

i wouldnt buy those blackout headlight the beam patteen are horrible

 

some listed over on Yota Tech marketplace check also over on T4R.org. I have the clear corners on my 99. Roughly $30 a pair or so.

I am also running the supplemental turn signal bulb inside them so when turning it is flashing on the bumper and at the corner.

Soon to go to side markers as well, but that is still a few projects away yet.
