1992 22re oli pump not priming

ok so ive put assembly lube in the pump, took out the spark plugs, sat there and cranked her for idk 10-20 minitues and nothing so...... is there a way to prime these things a different way and get to finally prime?? or did i F something up.. and yes it has oil in it..

Sounds like the drive gear might of been left off. Are you sure the oil pressure gauge works?

the gear is installed idk if the gauge works.. it should its brand fing new so idk...

on top of the oil pump...there is a brass plug...remove said plug..and pour some oil into the hole...this is called manually priming your oil pump. put said plug back into the hole...then see what happens. lol

What else was done to the motor? Is the pickup installed properly (tight) and the screen unblocked.

Almost be temped to pull the filter off and crank.

i rebuilt the whole engine top to bottom and yes the pickup tube was installed properly

well after using a hand held oil pump (tubelike w/a plunger and hose on end) pumped oil thgough the oil filter hole cranked it for idk a minute then the pressure gauge sprang up to 20+ so thanks but i got it!..
