Magnaflow or Flowmaster Delta 50?

I'm in the process of rebuilding my 85 Runner. Going to run a Super Stock 22re from Oregon Engine Rebuilder with a LCE Header,Magnaflow cat with 2.25 pipe. I narrowed it down to two mufflers. The Flowmaster Delta 50 part# 942452 or the Magnaflow part#11265. I love the sound of the Flowmaster but also like the performance I hear you get out of the Magnaflow. This will be a daily driver.Any input in helping me decide or your experience with either of these mufflers would be great.

Does the inlet outlet location make a difference?

Thanks

I've got the lce header into a flowmaster 50 delta and I love it...i'm pretty sure i used 2.25 all the way back too. i was definitely not disappointed if that helps at all

I've got an LC header. I had a 14 inch Magnaflow (I realize you are looking at 18 inch mufflers) I ended up hacking out the 14 and replacing it with a flowmaster 50. Much better, and the drone at 65 miles per hour was cut almost in half.

Much happier with the Flowmaster. Performance is the same.

well the truth is your not gonna see a big difference in power between the two. so your best beat would be to buy for sound. IMHO, the flowmaster should fit your bill...

Get some before and after videos. I think you will be happy with it. Its not overly loud, but sounds good.

And if you were deciding between a Mag 18 and a Flow 50 delta, I would assume you weren't going for "wake up the neighbors" loud.

Yeah I was looking at the 18. Performance Peddler seems to have the best price on the Flowmaster $83.06 and free shipping.

Does the location of the inlet/outlet make any difference?

Not really. There is enough room under there either will work, but I have the center inlet/ offset outlet.
