snapped OFF SHOCK MOUNTING BOLT!!!!

in process of removing left rear shock - upper mounting bolt - while doin a ZUK coil upgrade of rear leaf - over the 20+ years i've had this rig - have broke off bolts - extracted & or re-tapped threads - all good - but this one - what a $@#$^%&^ - couple hours trying - just no room to work - & i got lots o tools - just outta ideas -

i broke off a lower bolt and welded a stud to it then used a nut and flat and lock washers. it has held up to over a year of use and abuse so far

Yup.. I'd weld a bolt on it and get it outta there.. then obviously replace it.

Cut or grind off the mount, mount a new one.

SHOCK bolt fix

upper left mount a #Q$ to get to .. so I found steel bushing with a set screw - drilled the mount .. longer set screw into mount itself .. tack welded face of bushing to mount..
