need photos of custom made 79-83 center console

Can anyone send me photos of their home made center console and/or shifter console in their 1979-83 Toyota 4x4? I have an 81 with a bench seat. If you have a nice fitting aftermarket console I would appreciate those photos also. Thanks for your help!!

I just glued the old console that was part of my bench seats down in between the bucket seats I put in. Not great...was meant to be temporary and still is, but it's been over a year now...nothing special but it serves the purpose.

The box is a fiberglass 8x10 Hoffman electrical enclosure and the gauge pod is a 2 gauge abs unit that I bought at a flea market. The cup holder is SS custom unit I bought on eBay for $20.00. I painted them with black krinkle paint from Pep Boys. The switches are for electric fuel pump, auto / manual electric fan, high / low speed electric fan, Nitrous control, Front auxiliary lights-Fog and Long Range, Rollbar outer lights, Rollbar inner lights, Rollbar rear lights, and Wideband air / fuel ratio calibration. The gauges are Wideband air / fuel ratio readout and electric fuel pump pressure.

I just have a ten dollar center console from Wal-mart. It fits tightly between the bucket seats, has two adjustable cup holders(capable of holding 2 64 oz. Fountain drink), a big open compartment that my Coleman one gallon water cooler fits in perfectly (only use for wheeling trips), and some other little compartments. My friend gave it to me for free so I just threw it in there real quick. Now I love the features so much that I decided against installing my double lid center console out of a 94 pickup.

Nice work Slacker. Do you make custom pieces? I could send you a drawing of what I want.

Custom middle consoles

Sup, Just came on the site. if anyone is interested i do sell custom middle consoles. Normal for police vehilces but can be used in yotas. I have a yota but not in town to show a pic...
This consoles can hold cup holders, radios, gauges, switches... pretty much anything you can think of to put in can go in... Made with steel. If anyone has seen the inside of a police crusier, then youll knonw what im talking about. Cup holders work sweet!

Let me know if any of you are interested and i can send you actuall pics and spects of the console via email.
You can visite my web site acfcommunicatoins.ca
I also carry antennas and electrical equipment. In dash GPS systems ect.
Looking forward to hearing from you. Ill have pics of my ride up on soon!
L.

Nice console. The cup holder design is really slick. Keep up the great work and the build photos. I wish I would have taken photos during my build.
