22r curved water pipe

Love the site, should've already done an intro page or something. Miss driving my old truck... no pics, I'll work on it... (hanging head in shame) sorry

Here's the story:

83 Flatbed Truck, 22r, weber carb: motor started knocking real bad, knew it was doomed.... So I got a long block, Titan engine... local to me. In the process of switching all my goodies over, cleaning de-greasing painting, again and again.

I hoping someone can help or point me in the right direction... Searched and searched, here, pirate, google. I'm trying to track down a parts diagram or at least find out the part number for the curved metal pipe that the 2 lower radiator hoses connect to, hooks on the drivers side motor mount... No luck anywhere.

The old one is nasty and hard to clean up. I'd hate to have it piping anything into my new motor. Want to get one ordered, don't think I can get to a dealer any time soon.. Cant find the magic number!! Maybe someone has one in decent shape that I can paypal from them??

Another question: My exhaust manifold, 4-1 jt outfitters maybe, has bolts and studs holding it to the head. Can't seem to find the bolt part #'s... Got the studs and nuts but thats all I see.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

lce has the header studs, I would just buy them. I did and they work great.

As for the tube, not sure if the one for an 87 is the same or not but the part number is Toyota Part 16577-35030 replaced by Toyota Part 16577-35070 also available here: http://www.toyotapartszone.com/oem/t...577-35030.html

here is the diagram:

I got a block off plate from lce, looks like its time for another order.

Yup. Junkyards, internet forums (classified section). You'll find what you need for much cheaper than $60.

make sure that diagram and what not look like you setup I looked that the 83 diagram and like you had mentioned it does not show the tube at all. junk yards always work but not sure how many 1st gen pickups you gonna find. up here they are pretty much non existent along with 2nd gen pickups and 1st gen runners.

The pipe looks identical to the diagram. The bolt holes for the motor mount are the same on my old block as the new. The long block I picked up is a laser block or the RE block, fuel injection down the road?

Ordered exhaust studs/nuts this morning from LCE.. Got a box full of belts/hoses/sensors etc on the way too, like the week before christmas here in the swamp

I haven't scoped out the junkyards around here very well yet.

Thanks for the help

off-topic... how's that JT header working out for ya? my exhaust mani is cracked and I'd rather put something on for performance.

It's worked pretty well, I still want a tri-y but this is working fine for now.

Can't really tell on the performance side, I put it on my tired worn out engine first and then switched it to a rebuilt engine in August or so. I added an offenhauser intake too, it's better than ever but I can't really compare it to stock. If I were to do it again, I think I'd save up for a tri-y or try to find one used.

Hope that helps
