What is the best sounding exhaust system for the 22re?

 

Lc engineering header, your choice of muffler, dumped before the rear axle.

 

Don't use a glasspack unless you like to hear popping when you decelerate. Also sounds like a tractor lol.

 

i wouldnt use a flowmaster 40 series either cause they sound like a fart!

 

i got a spintech muffler dumped out before the rearend 2 1/4 inch all the way from the manifold i love the way it sounds, so far ive had glasspack to duals out the back sounded alright then had straight pipes to duals LOUD AS well u know then had 3 inch tips put on quieted it down some but now just got my spintech and straight of the muffler its got a tip pointed straight at the ground it was worth the money Lilbroyota

 

my friend has a thrush 28" glasspack on his 22r and it sounds good at idle and acceleration

 

cheapo turbo muffler sounds pretty good with my header and 2.25" exhaust

if i would do it again....CHERRYBOMB EXTREME! lmao

 

I'll be different and say thorley header, with 2.25 going back to a 20" magnaflow, no cat (where legal)
