1985 4runner - Aurora, Colorado
It pains me to even think about his, but I am in school and need less hobbies.
It is a 1985 Toyota 4runner (weird, right?) with the auto transmission. Most people hate it, I love it.
The good :
-3" Pro Comp lift in the front
-4" Pro Comp lift in the rear
-Marlin front axle knuckle service
-Trail Gear high steer
-5.71 gears
-Detroit locker up front
-Spool rear
-aluminum wheels with some scratches
-33 x 1250 x 15 BFG muds, about 4000 miles, some cuts in the tread.
-Marlin rear bumper
-rebuilt 22re, engnbldr performance head (less than 6000 miles)
the bad :
-typical Toyota rust
-no front fenders
-drivers side front tire hits the rear of the front fender when turning (looks like a bent spring mount in the front)
-There is a t-case leak, but I have a box full of parts for fixing it.
-front axle has a bit of a leak, nothing terrible, but enough.
There is more good and bad, but I don't remember right now. The truck has gone everywhere I have pointed, driven 4 hours to the trails without problem.
It has a 48" high lift, and a 10 pound CO2 tank that goes with it, a CB with antenna.
I am looking to get $3500 out of it, but make me a reasonable offer and see what comes up.
The 4runner is located in Aurora, Colorado area.
Thanks
-Brandon
I would be willing to trade for a 96+ 4runner, but I have no extra cash, so it would need to be straight up.

Looks worth it to me, what with all the stuff you have on it and the newish tires. If you lived down the road from me, I'd tell you to take the wheels\tires off and knock the price down and I'd come pick it up.
But ur too far away, it would cost me $200-250 gas to trailer it home with my Yukon.
Is the engine running strong with the AT? I know you have 3.71's, so that should more than make up for the AT.
Did those wheels fit with no spacers?
Is the rear tailgate\window intact and functional?
Hmmm, my roommate used to live in Colo springs...

Very very true.
I don't know if I said it, but the interior is rough. It is 25 years old and its dirty, but not too bad.

oh and gauges inside aren't hooked up but I have all the sneding units still. Also a box full of trans / transfer case parts. Tach works great though, CB is hardwired, GPS cable is wired. I can include the GPS if you want.

I haven't had any real offers, so as of now I am going to keep it. Let me know if anyone is interested, as it might be for sale again.

You had said you would be interested in trading for an 86 IFS runner. I have an 89 w/ a 22 RTE auto in fair to good condition and am located in Denver if you were interested in trade. Let me know. Thanks Mike

I have pics from when i purchased it but only in my cell-phone. its a black-berry so i can send to another cell or E-Mail. The pics wouldnt do it justice. I removed the cheasy ass stickers and low-rider wheels and tires and replaced w/ stock toy alum and 31x10.50
