knocking noise when turning

so i have this noise that i can't figure out. i think it might be a wheel bearing. i only hear the noise when i crank the wheel all the way to the right and go in reverse. the noise seems to be coming from the front passenger side of the truck.

Might be the steering stops:

it is strange b/c it doesn't make the noise when i crank the wheel all the way right and drive forward. just in reverse.

Well, it could be the forces are different in reverse than forward and push the stops into contact in only that combination. Takes 2 minutes to smear a little grease on the stops if they are missing the plastic caps. If that silences the noise, problem solved, if not, you have eliminated that potential cause from the problem.

Do you feel it in the wheel if not it may just be the plastic shroud on the steering knuckle under the hood , it happened to me good luck

so just went for a little drive and i noticed that my noise isn't just when the wheel is cranked all the way right. the noise starts before the wheel is cranked all the way, and continues when the wheel is all the way cranked.
