Weird clunking after SAS

My 86 SAS'd 4runner has started this weird clunking sound as the front wheels rotate, it sounds like it might be just the right side.

It gets a little worse when i turn either direction and goes away when i brake.

I'm about to start looking for the problem, I was just wondering if anyone has any info on what i could look for before i start tearing everything apart.

Thanks guys.

clunking normally means something is worn or loose.
I would start by jacking the truck up and seeing if it clucks with out weight on the tires.
If it is not obvious what the problem is I would open up the axle and visually inspect all of the parts then torque every thing to spec. I would also inspect/torque steering, brakes and suspension to spec.
In my sig is a link to FSMs if you need torque specs.

I shoulda just went and looked at it before i posted cause it was simple stuff,

The passenger side wheel spacer was loose and that was causing the most noise, guess i should checked the torque on those after i put some miles on her.

The drivers side was the the bearing nut was loose, i guess i didn't get it tight when i installed my 3rds last time.

Rookie mistakes, but thanks for all the help guys, what a great board!
