Santa Rosa, CA Pick-N-Pull, '89 Pickup with 4" ProComp Bracket Lift

I was out at Pick-N-Pull today in Windsor (just north of Santa Rosa). There are 3x second gen 4Runners out there, two of them are Clunker Rebate rigs (seized motors), and in good shape. Two are V6, one is 4 cylinder. Lots of parts on them, they are fresh. One had leather buckets seats in it that a guy was walking away with. They were pristine! Man, those clunker rigs are a crying shame.

Also, a 1989 standard cab pickup with a 4" ProComp Bracket lift in the front and 56" Chevy leaf springs in the rear. It had rock sliders on it, but someone cut them off already. The rear springs have heavy duty shackles that look to be twice the length of stock shackles. The rear 3rd member is gone already, but the front is still there. It is an ADD front diff, no clue on the gearing. The front lift is all there. The sway bar spacers, brake line extenstions, etc, etc. Oh, and it has Aisen manual hubs on it already, which makes me wonder if it has a locker in the front. The brakes looks to be in great shape. No motor, it was already gone. Manual trans.

Anyway, for someone looking for a complete bracket lift, with shocks, it is sitting out at PnP waiting for you. Go get it!

How could they have cars from the clunker program? They are required to crush the cars to get their money back..

Idk how that whole crap program works but i was at the pick and pull in rosville area, ca and they were getting 3 toyotas, 2 trucks and 1 runner. No motors tho.

I guess the people who dont really care for there toyotas treat em like crap. It just kills me knowing how people will treat there stuff. idk about you but i love not having a car payment every month.

Not having a car payment is what makes it fun. Put the same money put into a car payment into your used rig every month, and you'd have one bitchin' vehicle.

Don't know how they have them, but they do. The blocks are painted pink and they say 'Clunker Car" on the windshield.

One of the Runners was in sweet condition, a terrible shame to scrap it out.

At least none were first gen Runners, then, I would be crying.

Well, being the opportunist I am, I would've pulled it and sold it myself, though I do appreciate your chivalry.

What do they want for it? Would you pull it and ship it if I paid for it?

I'm not sure they would even know how to price it. They do not have "lift kit" in their price list. You would definitely have the opportunity to haggle for it.

No, I do not have the time to pull the kit out, that is a morning's work and I have a three year old to play with, not to mention my own rig to work on. Just thought I would post it up to see if anyone in the Bay Area wanted it.

I have enough work to do around the house, on my own rig, and at my day job, without being at PnP pulling lift kits. Chivalry? It's not like I'm opening doors for you so I can check out your ass when you walk through.

Just hoping to give a little back to the guys on the board.
