Moved to Newbie Tech Section.
As scuba so gracefully said, please try and search.
We get at least 10-15 of these types of threads each month.
I also renamed you're thread title given it was fairly ambiguous.
Might be a good idea to review the Rules also.
Let us know if you can't find an answer.

Hmmmm, well you actually have to TYPE something into it for it to search. Maybe just use some key words instead of a whole sentence.
Well, you've got a cam, header and 2.5" exhaust...just a though...maybe something for the intake? I dunno, I'm spitballing here...How much money do you have? How about a turbo or supercharger???? Look up LCEngineering...

It's the Newbie section guys, lay off of him a little.
Here's a couple I found searching for "22RE power mods."
https://www.yotatech.com/forums/f116...please-185513/
https://www.yotatech.com/forums/f116...s-work-177568/
The bottomline of it is that the 22RE is a 4-cylinder.
It's preferred for its reliability and ruggedness, not for the performance options it has.
Re-gearing is really the only thing that helps regain power but it's very expensive and depending on the tire size you're running it may not be worth it.
Even then, re-gearing doesn't necessarily give you more power just changes your ratios.
I'd say engine swap or put the money into preventative maintenance to keep it running longer.

Offhand:
-- Reduce weight with lightest wheel/tire combination, leave the spare and tools home (Fix-A-Flat)
-- Reduce parasitic loss with a flex or electric fan, add +3 psi to tires
-- Use lowest viscosity oil allowed
-- Find a diff from a 1-Ton

Let's back track.
What kind of rig do you have?
Year, make, model, tranny, etc...
Any mods already done?
Sounds like you're off to a good start with the 5.29's...lets take that and run with it.

Holy heck, that would have been some useful info at the beginning of all this.
Well, atleast you did the gears!! lol! You could try slapin in a Supra AFM to open your intake up but really theres not much more than what you've already done.

I guess its the "cheap" part of the title that throws some of us. If you're on your 3rd motor, you probably know by now that one thing leads to another. Get a K&N or similar air filter setup and the afm becomes the bottleneck. Get a supra afm and the TB becomes the bottleneck. Get a bored out TB and the intake becomes the bottleneck. Get a ported and polished intake and the head/valves become the bottleneck. Get a performance head w/cam and the exhaust becomes the bottleneck. Get a header and hi flow exhaust and you're done. Wait... with all that air the computer starts dumping in more fuel and the mixture isn't quite right. Now your back to the afm making adjustments. Maybe one of those Jet chip thingies (haven't heard much about them either way)
Sorry. By now I'm sure you've gotten my drift.
cold air intake - don't really know the cost
afm - usually a craigslist find cost negotiable
bored out TB - $300
ported/polished intake - $400
performance head - $500ish
header and exhaust - $300-$1000 depending on how creative/lucky you are
chip - $300 (if they do anything)
End result 125 - 135 hp ----- maybe
It sounds like you've most of the normal stuff already.
If there was a cheap easy fix, we would all be doing it. Best of luck though.
