Setting up to do a bed bob next month. Any comments.

Greatly improves departure angle
Less weight
Less body panel to worry about
Looks cool

If you have nice paint, you'll have to chop that up
Take a little time and patience

its already been said but make sure u plan and measure and be very carefull when marking or laying out tape linens to cut on.. and then be very carefull when cutting that you keep a straight line. the more time you spend on you prep and layout the better the bob will turn out. iv seen alot of real hack jobs on bobs and i think it really ruins the truck.. even if it has alot of trail damage. ive done a couple bobs and have done them with a sawzall and a grinder with a cutoff wheel, i prefer the cutoff wheel, a little easier to control on sheetmetal. last off, as you probably already know dont get the bed sides to hot when welding it up.. it dont take much to warp them.
