I say rubber band a grocery bag around the top and then do the deckplate mod and leave it open.

Being that I have a snorkel I would gladly answer this question IF I knew what the hell you were asking...

I thought the ARB snorkels also come with a trap on the bottom to collect water/mud that makes it in. The whole purpose of having a snorkel is so that you can go mudding without getting water in the intake. Keeping the deckplate open sort of defeats the purpose.....

Yeh if youre gonna go through some deep stuff or semi deep stuff fast. I meant if he was just gonna go through thick sticky mud that normally wouldnt find its way to the air box he could keep the deckplate open. Now if he goes 'mudding' in muddy water (not what i really consider mudding) then he probably shouldnt keep the DP open.

panty hose

go to the store or get a girl youknow so you don't feel like a fairy and get them to buy you some pantyhose and cut it to a size u want or just cut it at the ankel and rubber band that to the top. that will stop all particles from entering in it and will still allow air to flow through it. or just turn the top backwards if you can.

Yea.. Snorkles are not really made for "mudding" Then again, I think mudding is lame (way too much clean up for way to little fun) But the panty hose idea would work the best, even if fully clogged. it will draw enough air to, at the least, still idle thru the drain holes. truning it around may work, but I think you may still get it in there..

Sometimes the direct approach is best, just ask her exactly what the deal is. She will either warm up or break for the hills. Of course maybe she just can't get a read on you...

We are going bowling this evening so maybe I will grow some gonads and speak up. Then again, I am quite the ˟˟˟˟˟. I mean this will be our 3rd date type hang out. Holy crap I'm a wuss. The crappy part is that this chick is friends with a bunch of people I am friends with so it would kinda be weird if I messed things up. In the mean time though, I have these 2 other chicks that I am not interested in flinging themselves at me. Bottom line, chicks suck... :pat:

Well, the good news is that she still wants to do stuff with you! Usually after a few dates it's a good time to decide whether or not to go forward.
