3.4L swap hood scoop

My 3.slow recently decided to blow the head gasket and crack the heads, so i am going to do a 3.4l swap.
i think i might have an engine lined up already
What i was wondering is this. I know you need at least a 2" body lift to clear it, and i have a 3" that i would really like to take off... some trails are pretty scary with my 7" of lift haha plus i like the look of a 4" suspension with 35's
how hard would it be to make a hood scoop? how much do you guys think one would cost?
any thoughts or input would be great
and yes, i know how to use the search button. there wasnt much on this at all so dont tell me to just search

This is the one I'm running after my swap. Personally, I would have liked something smaller, but it does blend in well (it comes molded in black and my hood is dark gray).

There are a ton of choices on eBay.

I ave a similar setup as tofer- but much less of a standoff in- about 3/8". littl trick, ground down the front of the intake mani a hair- just on the front edge because that is where the interference fit is. I didnt want to go hood scoop because its non functional and i would just end up with more debri in the engine bay. If you want the look of a hood scoop just slap one on and do a simple cut out for clearance- doesnt all that much matter cause it isnt functional anyway. I'd go with a six pack scoop from a 70 plymouth GTX (im a mopar street guy)- while you're at it, put the 440 from one in there!! jk. Good luck.

My hood clears with a 1" body lift. A couple spots rub on the insulator beneath the hood, but when I replace it with a new one I'll cut windows at those rub points.

Nice Rob, I think I'm going that route! 904, did you reuse the old motor mounts from your 3.0, or didja buy brand new ones?

I used my old ones, the only reason I would see replacing them is if they are worn out.
