What kind of Lifts are there for my 90 runner?

I have been searchin for a while but can't decide what is the best lift to buy for my 90 yota 4runner! I haven't found a body lift bc mine is a 90 v6 4x4 auto. I have found a few suspension lifts but I don't know which one would be the best. oh and I still have IFS. I dont want to do a sas!

go with either a skyjacker 4inch lift or a 4inch stage 2 lift from procomp

How can anyone recommend a lift for him, particularly a bracket lift when we have no clue what he's wanting to do with the vehicle.
Maybe he's wanting to do preruuner type stuff, high speed off road with jumps, etc.
A bracket lift for that would just plain bite.

You haven't searched very hard then. The RB body lifts, for one, work just fine with an auto tranny.

What are your plans for the vehicle.
Why, specifically, are you looking to lift it.
Supply a little more information and you'll get much better answers.

You CAN BL a auto! I've owned a 90 and an 87, both autos to start and had 3" BL on them.......

Search here...then ask questions

Well I am just mainly doing it for looks more than anything. I dont really have much time to go play like I use to and we go to truck showes all the time. I am just wanting to get my runner up in the air as much as I can and run 35's. I do go offroad sometimes but not too often. Also I was wanting a suspension lift and a body lift but I have asked around and looked on the internet but everything gives a listing for a manual trans not an auto trans for a body lift.

Do a 4" bracket lift and 3" body lift if you want to run 35's. All you ever wanted to know about body lifts http://www.4crawler.com/4x4/ForSale/BodyLiftKit.shtml he is also a member here. I would seriously consider regearing also if you want to run 35's. The 3.0/Auto will be even more of a DOG with 35's. Overdrive will no longer exist and you'll be getting smoked by fiats.

UKMyers thanks for the info. What kind of bracket lift would you recomend? I am just wanting to run 35's. can I do that without a body lift? I am wanting to know what the best suspension lift would be if all I want it for is looks. Also what should I change my gears to if I go with 35's?
