Question any one know key ignion swaps

ok i own a first gen toyota and with in the first three months some one ripped it off the hole thing was gone my friend says if you where down enough they start most first second thrid gens so before i go building another rig for it to get stolen i have to ask does some one know a of a key swap to stop someone from getting in and starting it up and driving away? and yes i will have an alarm on in and kill switchs just want it to be easy for them to get in and get whats not there's thanks

short answer no.

You can't prevent the filed down key type of theft with the ignition cylinder itself. You would have to go to the newer key resistor type of system which is another whole set of issues.

That is the whole purpose of having a backup system. I like the club myself, however any system can be defeated by a determined thief. The idea is to make them pass up your vehicle for an easier target.

now i got a club and an alarm some one showed me how to get take off the the club so im thinking about a brake club
