TVV's are REALLLLLLY fragile
yea like the post says. i just got another one from a fellow member on the board and broke that one. these things are like PAPER!!!! i mean really. anyways, anybody have another. thanks

To be fair, they aren't built fragile, they just get that way after 19 years.
Lots have reported success rebuilding the valve, but I found that "all" of the plastic was so weak that I couldn't get a good grip to glue to. You may have more luck.
I just paid the $65 (!) at the dealership (I haven't found an after-market source) and have a stronger unit. 'course I'll have to replace it again in 15 years ...
