refill gear oil through shifter?
This is a pretty straightforward question. Can you refill the gear oil through the shifter hole once the stick is removed? Or does it have to be done through the filler hole on the size of the t-case and transmission? I was able to do this on my suzuki sidekick.

that was a straight forward answer
You can also fill your T-case through the T-case shifter on top shift cases. Since yours is a forward shift case, you will have to fill your case through the back.

Hey boys,
So you can fill thru the hole your shifter screws into but how will you check the level? How do you know you're putting the right amount in there?

OR!!!!!!!!! Take the fill plug out of the tranny. When it's full, it will pour out. Just keep a clean, clean, clean container under the tranny to catch the spill so no waste, eh.

strange... I would think it would just be easier to put a wrench on the fill plug and fill it up there...

unless the plug's rounded off...
or broken off in the tans...
but who does that
