125w amp --> 80w speakers?

Would it be fine to hook up a Pioneer GM-5400T amp (125w x2 @ 4ohm) into Pioneer TS-D902P speakers (80w RMS/360w Peak/4 ohm ea)? Would that be too much power for these speakers?

Edit: 125w RMS x2 @ 4 ohm

You'll be fine. 125w is the maximum output of the amp at a specified distortion level, the vast majority of the time it will be putting out less power. If you turn up the volume really high then you could possibly hit 125w or more on a transient, but your speakers are rated 360w peak so it shouldn't be a problem.

I didn't properly specify.. It's actually 125w RMS. Would that make much difference?

You will be absolutely fine. I doubt the amp will ever truely be pushing 125w...

The amp I use for my bass guitar is 1200w at 2 ohms.... I have a 4x10 cabinet and a 2x12.

the 4x10 handles 1350w, and the 2x12 is only 500.

Daisy chained, I could have all 1200w, but realisticly I'm probably only pushing 850w and thats on a big stage.

The 2x12 doesnt mind the extra 350...
