Please Help!!! 91' 4runner Clutch is making me do a work out!

1991 4runner 4x4 V6 3.0
A few days ago my clutch all of a sudden decided that it didnt want to go into gear, well when the car was off it went in fine as soon as you turn the car on its pretty much impossible to get in gear. so i put it in gear & then start it and then its drive-able, not right but drive-able. Its like ive been working out the last few days my arm is sore from driving and just trying to get it in gear.
We Replaced the Master & the Slave yesterday (the old slave was bad) bled the line adjusted the pin, rod whatever that thing is refered to as and turned it on seemed to be working fine. I drove all of about 5 miles and it started getting hard to shift again. So we bought a bleeder kit did it again today and there is No air in there and its still not working. Ive heard that it might be a pressure plate but i am so lost and i think that if the clutch in general was bad it wouldnt have worked for that 5 miles after the master & slave replacement. I would really appreciate some tips or something.

make sure you lift the clutch pedal all the way up when you bleed it so it goes threw the entire stroke. and bleed it a couple times

When you say adjust the clutch pedal do you mean the pin that comes out of the master cylinder under the dash?

How old is the clutch? You may have bent or damaged fingers on the clutch. You may also have a bad pilot bearing. You might want to pull the trans off and have a look.

also make sure the clutch pedal bracket isn't cracked and bending when you depress the pedal.

x2. if its old you might have bent some of the fingers on the pressure plate. Or you toasted a release bearing...

Figured it out

The clutch pedal mount had about a 1 1/2" crack in the top it only took 2 minutes to weld it and its working fine again!! Thanks.

this happened to mine check the clutch petal assembly, there like a "L" shaped bracket and they can brake at the "fold" i took mine out it took like an hour and then i welded it up and put it back in.if you climb under the dash and depress the petal watch the inner coerner ir you nitice the slightest flex then that's the problem
