2" bodylift issues on 3rd gen 4runner

well, back in may when i did my 2" BL, something must have happened with some wires or something, as my horn and cruise control dont work, and my airbag light is always illuminated. i never really cared to get around to it, but after looking around under the truck from the frame to body area, i dont see any possible wires that got stretched/pulled/unclipped. anyone have this issue, or could point me in the direction to look to solve these problems? thanks

let me guess, you didnt secure the steering wheel during the lifting process?

so your steering wheel spun too far and broke the "clock spring" inside the steering wheel. This is easy to replace and will restore CC,horn and AB.

Google "toyota clock spring" and you will find a few writeups about how to do it.

If you haven't fixed this yet, here is something that might help you.

I would agree that it is the spiral cable aka clock spring

Here is a write up of how to get it centered when you put it on

oh, and by any chance, are they interchangeable between years and such, even with diff. options?

i.e. - all are wired w/ cruise included on ribbon, just not hooked up if vehicle didn't have option installed.
