AC Push Button Switch Changable?

My plastic switch internals broke. I tried super gluing it and it appears to be unrepairable. I am hunting for a new one but they're apparently hard to find.

Can I install a typical flip switch to accomplish the same thing the stock switch did? Anyone else ever done this? Maybe a a 3rd party push button switch? The harness is a 3 wire harness and I know the switch is lit up when depressed so one of the wires is for the light and the other two for the switch itself?

I'm not much on 12 volt electric stuff. Someone able to help?

Thanks

yes very easy i can try to make you a picture of what to do hang on my paint has gotten much better!!!!

all you do is fuse the 12 volt power from the battery

12v switched goes to the a/c

ground well you should know this one it goes to the frame or metal to make it light up

Thanks for the help guys.
