Paint opinions

I just painted my front fenders and hood after getting tired of looking at primer. I tried to match the red as close as possible but did a horrible job. It's called banner red made by krylon but its actually more of an orange. It doesn't look half bad and if I decide I like it, i'll be painting the whole thing with it. What do ya'll think?

Looks ok, could just paint the rest of the truck the same color.

I really dont care how it looks imho if it were mine, so long as it drives.

I think it would look great on the entire truck.
Do it!

I would have sex with that truck if you painted it that color.

Hey man, Spray Bombs are the , I'm glad to see more people using them to paint their trucks with, really people want big shiney paint jobs and shiney rims and chrome everything, I say chrome don't get you home, and mosta that shiney paint job won't be comin' home either, Post a writeup when your done, I'll be spraying my truck soon with ten cans of Krylon Ultra Flat Khaki... good luck dude!

I was actually going to do either Olive drab or ultra flat khaki, i'm actually more into the mild colors and red wasn't my first choice, but it was the easy route. I would actually just go all white but that could be a PITA trying to paint over the red. I actually like the color but its not really my type for a 4x4 We'll see, i'll give the red another week or so to see if it wins me over.

Well it oughta take you about ten cans, and about 5 cans of clear if you go the red route, cool part is, if you tape your interior off and crack your doors like they didnt get shut all the way that red will blend with the current red in the door jams and wont look all that much different!

It took me almost 3 cans for what i've done so far, and I could probably go over it again, I keep changing my mind on it, I think it has something to do with what lighting its in rather I like it or not. Like I said i'll live with it for a week or two and then make my final decision. I had originally wanted to paint it the green they are painting the new jeeps but I can't find anything real close in rattle can, if I could find a gloss olive drab it would be about the same thing, but I can't seem to find anything but flat.

If you have a compressor and a gun, check out the tractor paint at Tractor Supply. I painted my bug in the driveway, i have never sprayed a car i worked fine. It is cheap and durable and easy to touch up cause they have the same paint in cans. Ill try and get a pic on here, it cost like 50 bucks or less i think, closer to 30.
