Marlin HD Clutch?
I was reading a earlier post post on Clutch selection and it sounded like most liked the Marlin Clutches. I am going to be buying a clutch for my 1994 4Runner in the next few days and I just wanted to be sure that Marlin was a good choice over all. Let me now your personal experiences thanks!

Ha ya you still by CSU... that puts us with in like 5min... I own a house by Rock Mountain High off Shields.
So did you get just the basic Marlin, or did you go with the Super Heavy Duty?

Heavy Duty Marlin ($179) (super HD is overkill). don't go ceramic, too grabby even for Marlin employees.
I recommend the full monty, a resurfaced flywheel ($99) from them too, you know they do a perfect job. I was advised to also get the master ($59) and slave cylinder ($29) too, nothing worse than a new clutch and then some of your old OEM parts decide to go out on you. refresh the whole 9 yards and you will be good to go for a LONG, LONG time. the marlin clutch is awesome, never slips and grabs fast. you'll love it! At $380 including shipping for a TOTAL clutch replacement, how can you even consider anything else
plus marlin is a true toyota wheeling icon and a hell of a guy. his staff are also pretty cool themselves.

any clutch except the POS centerforce dual friction. Junk clutch is worthless... I should have bought the Marlin or the Downey..

put the 179$ one in my truck. As stated before though, get the flywheel resurfaced, and replace the master and slave cylinder (mine was too weak to disenguage the clutch so it grinded when being put into gear). Marlin is the way to go!
