Thumbs down Bushwacker flairs

I finally get my new pocket style flairs today after waiting 3 months from bushwacker. The front one fits great but the rear is a hole different story. If anyone has any pictures of theirs i would be very greatful. Its the passenger side rear. Its an 88 4runner too.

Your just going to destroy them on the trail. Ide say make a bracket that ties in some big mud-flaps to cover the width and hight of the tire thus deeming legal. In most states that is. The whole concept is to stop wheel spray while driving over wet pavement I do myself like the look alot when trucks have them but is it needed to have them. Just IMO.

Whats the real problem anyway? The question or statment is kinda

Unfortunatly In BC it is illegal to have ANY tire poking out past the fender. Most guys will just run it like that till they get a VI then do the roll on flares.

To OP:

Are you sure you didn't get pickup flares, is there even a difference in the 1st gen runners/2nd gen pickup bodys?

If i didnt have good flairs on the driver side i would just take them off. MY passenger side always seams to get ed up though. I always break mirrors and put dent in that side. So i didnt want to do all the body work to patch the screw holes on the driver side so i just replaced the shredded flairs on the passenger side. Im not sure what im going to do about this flair though. Maybe preform some sergery with a zip cut. The sad part is they will porolly get busted off again. The flair i got for the rear has some weird shapes that dont follow the body of my runner. The front one says Passenger side front replacement flair. and the rear just has a bunch of weird number. so o well ill figure it out

Are you talking about the contour on the flares to fit around the stock bumper? I cut mine similar to above because the stock bumper was gone years ago and they fit fine ( basically I check 4crawler's site before researching anything). If you plan on leaving them on or covering rust you may want to use some rust inhibitor or I used DIY boxliner underneath. I would post a pic but for some reason and can't reduce them.
