gas milage
I have a 93 toyota 3.0 auto 4x4. I get like 12 mpg. I have 31x10.50's on it and no lift. I have a venom 400 chip and cold air intake. My ID plate says that my differential codes is B04B. I have 4.56 gears and was wondering how I could get better gas milage. thanks

i would suggest the routine maintenance. ive had two 1994 4runners and have gotten about 16mpg out of both. check the spark plugs, air filter, fluids, and just try going a little easier on the pedal. i drove mine mildly to aggressive and still got about 15-16.

I have had the plugs and wires changed. I have the cold air intake so I just clean it out and reoil it. I just had a new block put in it and had all of the belts replaced. I was just curious if the gears would effect it that much.

12mpg isn't great.
How's that Venom chip work? Tried running without it?
I'd check on the function of the 02 sensor - make sure it dithers at cruise... If you're mainly city driving, drop a tire size.

You've definitely got something wrong if you can't drive on the interstate without a chip. I've got 33x12.50 MTs, with 4.56s and very rarely have problems on the interstate here in mountainous NE TN / Western Carolina...and get anywhere from 15-18mpg
