If a 2000 tacoma prerunner already has a 2 inch spacer lift in the front.
Can you also put in the old man emu 881 springs for 2 more inches of lift?

 

If it is a 2WD prerunner, then yes, that would be fine.

You could but you are better off to just stick with a slightly more mild lift, unless you have to that height. A sub-frame style lift is a ton of work money and on top of that in most cases will make your truck more fragile, but just my opinion, if that's how tall you want it go for it.

 

No, if you want that much lift then get an adjustable coilover setup for the fronts instead of the OME's an a huge topout spacer. You won't have much travel with that setup and what you do have will be stiff as heck.

 

It depend on what kind of spacers you run up front. Is it a top out spacer or a spring packer type? Or both? I wouldn't run lift springs with a spring packer spacer. The top out type would be fine.

I would say that it will work, but like everyone else said it will ride poorly. The more angle you put on the A-Arms the more force from bumps is transfered to your frame/cross member instead of to the shock where it belongs.

 

Riding on borrowed time my friend for a 4wd, but 2wd yes. Sure, you CAN lift the IFS 14," but will it fall apart in a matter of miles. Probably. Just because you can do something doesn't mean you should.

 

Talked to a rep from Old Man Emu, they recently discontinued the medium coil's for the lift I wanted...now I'm wondering what to do next :sigh:
