Anyone out there have an SR5 Standard Cab 3rd Gen?

Short bed please! haha, I am trying to even find one, I know they are rare, and I was just curious if anyone on here had one. I'd love to see one fully loaded, sunroof and all!

Post em' up, if you find one elsewhere as well.

I've seen one and only one standard cab SR5, and it was a long bed.

But, there is such a thing, as proven by this Ad:

it was the "Get The Feeling" campaign advertisements. You want funny, look up the same era Camry commercials, women in heals jumping! haha, it was cheesy, but it worked.

there are quite a few SR5 2nd gens out there, thats why I want to see a 3rd Gen, because they are super rare, and I haven't seen one YET!

well, after exhaustive searching, and starting to believe it didn't exist, I've finally found one!

the only options not installed on this truck is vent windows, auto trans, and bucket seats.

interesting to note, this is about as rare of a 3rd gen as there is. if it had been 22RE powered, with the factory roll bar and push bumper, then it would've been about as rare as they came. good luck finding a 22RE SR5. they were discontinued in 92.

end the rant, enjoy the pics guys! Thats one perfect little truck! and I'll have one on the way soon enough. Got me 2 standard cabs to choose from, and then starts the big SR5 conversion/frame up restoration/7MGTE swap.

peace.

If your doing a 7M swap, wont that kill the fact that it's a SR5? Or a rare one for that matter?

well, my logic is since its not a factory SR5, then it's really all a bunch of modifications, so why not give 'er a little extra something under the hood? n/a cams and an upgraded turbo, stock everything else, 300 RWHP... a lot better than the 22RE's 112 HP at the flywheel. though if I had a rare truck like the one above, no way I'd mod it whatsoever.

thats why I've been on the hunt for a 22RE 5spd... and I found two now for 500 each... so naturally, I bought both. Gonna flip one and rebuild the other from the ground up. It'll be nice, just keep an eye out for the start of the project. within the next few months.
